LOOK at what Julie (my new friend from Knitting help..see button on the left) made for me...I asked for....something with pinks, greens and yellows...pastelly with scrolling cursive for my new button...and poof, the magician MADE it!!! :) email me if you want HER email!!! :)
Well, Hank and I are home today sick sick sick!!! He officially has the creeping crud, and I have bronchitus....ALL work on the house is nearly at a stand still. He's crashed on the couch. :( I'm going to try and force some noodles down our throats in hopes that will at least let the lethargy go away....
Knitting has been somewhat slow due to the fact that I have A HUGE project to do. I am making a poncho to pay off a vet bill for my dog. So....she wanted a poncho, I'm making it, but am OH SO TIRED of it!!! knit, knit, knit...it's my own pattern sort of...
She wanted a cowl neck/hood/snood kind of thing...so I started with that....it just seems as if it is NEVER going to END. I'm happy to do it, but wow..I'd like to get started on some other things too!!! I do have other projects that are not knitting that will take up some of my time...but if I give myself a time limit, it should go OK!!!
